In our family, making spaces come to life is a tradition.

With plenty of options, Shine A Blind will help you make your home uniquely yours.

So. You’ve been thinking about getting new window coverings, and it’s time to move forward.  You may have an idea of what product you’re interested in, you may have no idea at all; either way, Shine A Blind will help you take the next steps.

Give us a call, we’ll schedule a free in-home consultation where we’ll come to your space with way more samples than you’ll need to see (seriously, we have everything you could possibly want).  After asking a series of questions about what you want to achieve, what’s most important to you in your window coverings, how you want to operate them, and your projected budget, we’ll make some manufacturer and product recommendations.  As you peruse samples and think about whether you want something that blends with your color scheme, or something that “pops,” we’ll take measurements to ensure a proper fit.

When selections are finalized, we’ll provide a firm estimate (or 3, because there really are a lot of options), and when you’re ready to make the purchase and pay a deposit (50%), we’ll place the order, then we’ll install them about 3 weeks later.

Find your fit.

Blinds

Slatted window coverings, usually made out of a harder material (aluminum, wood, vinyl, etc.).  These are generally high functioning blinds, but with the lowest energy efficiency.

  • Wood & Faux Wood Blinds
  • Composite Blinds
  • Fabric Blinds
  • Aluminum Blinds
  • Vertical Blinds
  • Vinyl Blinds

Shades

Softer window coverings that cover the window completely with no slats and breaks between them.  Includes a variety of opacity, light filtering, and energy efficiency options.

  • Cellular & Pleated Shades
  • Roller & Solar Shades
  • Roman Shades
  • Woven Wood & Bamboo Shades
  • Sheer Shades
  • Graphic Shades

Shutters

Plantation shutters are characterized by their tilted wooden louvers, which are similar to the slats on blinds. Unlike blinds, the shutters are fitted to the window frame and they can be opened out like doors, rather than being opened with a pull-string.

  • Wood Shutters
  • Faux Wood Shutters
  • Composite Shutters
