We have lived in our house for ten years and our blinds were disgusting. Brennan came out today and took down, washed, and re-installed all of our blinds today. His partner was out sick, so it took him 3 hours and he was unfailingly polite and professional. Best of all, the blinds look brand new. I will recommend shine-a-blind to everyone I know. The price was super reasonable as well. Thank you!

If you’ve ever shopped for custom window coverings, you already know the industry can be ruthless. I spoke with what felt like every shade company in the Seattle area, easily 15 or more, and quickly discovered that most companies only want to install the products they sell. The moment I mentioned third-party shades, 20+ foot ceilings, and a loft that required some actual problem-solving, the conversations got very short. That’s what made finding Shine A Blind such a pleasant surprise. From the first interaction to the final installation, Brennan and his partner were exceptional. What impressed me most was their attention to detail. They didn’t rush. They didn’t cut corners. They took the time to make sure every shade was mounted correctly, aligned properly, and functioning exactly as intended. These weren’t even the products they typically install, but you’d never know it from the quality of their work. What really earned my respect was how they handled the unexpected. I had purchased third-party light blocker tracks to go along with the shades, only to discover they were slightly too long for my window frames. A lot of installers would have shrugged and told me to order new ones. Instead, Brennan and his partner measured, cut, fitted, and customized them on-site so everything looked clean and professional. The entire time, it was obvious they took pride in what they were doing. Not once did I feel like they were trying to get in and get out as quickly as possible. They treated the installation as if it were their own home and wanted it done right. In an era where good customer service feels increasingly rare, Brennan and his partner reminded me what true craftsmanship looks like. If his partner happens to read this, I’m sorry I forgot your name, but both of you deserve recognition. You turned what had been a frustrating search through countless companies into one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had. Five stars. Absolutely earned.
